ABSTRACT
In this study, the optical properties of the ZnGa2Se4 single crystal were comprehensively examined. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed that the
compound is single-phase and crystallizes in a tetragonal structure belonging to the I42m space group. Furthermore, detailed analysis of spectroscopic
ellipsometry measurements revealed that the material exhibits a direct band gap with an energy of 2.81 eV.
Keywords: ZnGa2Se4, spectroscopic ellipsometry, band gap width.
